“A very nice and calm hotel in Hamburg. About a 20 min walk to the nearest train station. 20 mins with the S1 to Hamburg center. A small breakfast is included. Friendly and helpfull staff available from 8 am to 11.30 am. Entance and rooms open with codes.”

“We booked this room for a spur of the moment overnight in Hamburg and wished we could have stayed longer! The room was tastefully decorated, the bathroom large and modern, the bed was comfy!! There was a little confusion when we arrived, but it was more to our reading too much into the instructions instead of following what they actually said.. that being said it is the building directly at the top of the parking garage lift, it isn't really signed well. The parking garage, which we understand isn't necessarily under the control of Das Elbcottage, was very frustrating and expensive! €35 for overnight. The machine does not take cards, no cash larger than a €20s and there is no where to get change if you're leaving in the morning before the restaurant opens, we had a very nice resident open the gate for us otherwise we would have missed our appointment.”

“Gemütliche, stilvolle Unterkunft in ruhiger Lage mit sehr engagierten, freundlichen Mitarbeitern in Blankenese. Schade, dass es kein "echtes" Frühstück gibt. Vollkornbrötchen waren zumindest eine angenehme Alternative. Ansonsten sehr empfehlenswert.”

“Hier kommt man nicht durch Zufall her. Das Haus, die Lage sind besonders, an einem der blankenesesten Orte. Gediegene Einrichtung, freundliches Personal, hanseatisch, im wahrsten Sinne herausragend. Kleine Kanten, etwas abgelegen, sehr oben an den Treppen, viele Bäume und Porsches. Direkt am Großgasthof Süllberg mit hochwertigen Gerichten, Biergarten und Elbblick.
